Learn simple hand-stitching techniques to repair, strengthen and creatively transform worn denim at this free Village Green mending workshop.

Using sashiko-inspired visible mending techniques, you’ll learn how to repair and reinforce denim, as well as how to cut, fray and creatively reconstruct fabric so that damage becomes part of the design.

The session is suitable for beginners, and all guidance will be provided.

If you can, please bring along your own pair of jeans or denim shorts to work on during the session.
