How the network can help

North Yorkshire’s first VCSE climate action network is for groups and organisations that want to work more sustainably. Climate action does not need to be your main focus.

Learn from experts and other organisations. Share what works, ask questions and discuss any barriers you face.

Connect

Meet other VCSE organisations in North Yorkshire and build relationships.

Learn

Find practical ways to make your organisation more environmentally sustainable.

Collaborate

Talk through shared challenges and find solutions together.

What does membership involve?

Four meetings each year

Join our quarterly network meetings: two in person and two online. Dates and locations will be shared in advance.

As a member, you will also:

  • Have access to the network area for updates, resources and learning opportunities
  • Hear about funding, grants and ways to contribute to regional initiatives
  • Share advice and experiences with other North Yorkshire organisations.

A welcoming space

We want every member to feel welcome and able to contribute. Members agree to:

  • Be welcoming and respectful
  • Listen to others and respect confidentiality
  • Share experiences, learning and resources.

Read the network’s code of conduct and terms of reference for the full membership information.
