Community First Yorkshire and the National Innovation Centre for Rural Enterprise (NICRE) are bringing people together to explore one big question:

How might we unlock community energy for rural resilience in North Yorkshire?

The Community Energy Climathon will look at practical ideas that could help communities become more resilient, reduce their environmental impact and create wider social and economic benefits.

It starts with an online session on 20 October, followed by an in-person workshop in Harrogate on 3 November, where participants will hear about projects already working around the country and work together to develop ideas for North Yorkshire.
